I am a doctoral researcher based at the Oxford Department of International Development working on food and agricultural systems. In my research I analyse the ongoing negotiations between the Colombian government and agrarian movements that both parties initiated after the 2013 and 2014 national agrarian strikes. With the goal of shining light on the role of interactions among actors holding different and competing visions of the agri-food system, I analyse the implications of these negotiations for the Colombian rural development and agricultural policy.
Since 2013 I work for the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) where I am a Policy and Communications Assistant. OPHI is a research centre from the Oxford Department of International Development whose main research and policy focus is on multidimensional poverty.
